My news for the day is this. Upgraded to a new a better bike yesterday! Retired my Schwinn hybrid from Target after 1300 miles. Bought my first road bike, a Trek 1.1 from Penn Cycle in Blaine. I have to say it was one of the easiest processes with a salesperson ever. Got it home and got a 9 mile ride on it before it got dark!
Now today after work I had a CHILLY ride. Made it 7 miles through the city streets in Brooklyn Center and Minneapolis before the cold and dark got me. I absolutely love the new bike though and I can't wait to get some good long rides in.
